中國紅石公園——丹霞山位于中華人民共和國廣東省北部。總面積292平方千米。是以丹霞地貌景觀為主的自然風(fēng)景區(qū)。
China Redstone Park—Danxia Mountain is situated in the northern part of Guangdong province of the People’s Republic of China with total area of 292 square kilometers and is a natural scenic spot mainly dominated by the landscape of Danxia landform.
“色如渥丹，燦若明霞”。丹霞山先后評為國家級風(fēng)景名勝區(qū)、國家級自然保護(hù)區(qū)、國家AAAA級旅游區(qū)、國家地質(zhì)公園、世界地質(zhì)公園。2006年12月，與國內(nèi)多處丹霞地貌集中分布區(qū)以“中國丹霞”系列提名申報世界自然遺產(chǎn)。
It’s “colorful as the lilium concolor and iridescent as clouds at sunrise”. Danxia Mountain is successively named as state-level scenic spot, national nature reserve and national AAAA-class tourist area, national geological park and world geological park. In December 2006, it and several concentrated distribution areas of domestic Danxia landform are jointly nominated to apply for the world nature heritage site with the name of “China Danxia” series.
丹霞山是世界丹霞地貌命名地。丹霞地貌是指有陡崖的陸相紅層地貌。丹霞山的丹霞地貌發(fā)育具有典型性、代表性、多樣性和不可替代性。據(jù)地質(zhì)地貌學(xué)家研究表明：在中國已經(jīng)發(fā)現(xiàn)800多處丹霞地貌中，丹霞山是發(fā)育最典型、類型最齊全、造型最豐富、景色最優(yōu)美、研究最充分的丹霞地貌集中分布區(qū)。
Danxia Mountain is the place where the naming the world landform was granted. Danxia landform is the continental redbed landform with escarpments. The Danxia landform of Danxia Mountain is developed with typicality, representativeness, diversity and non-substitutability. According to the research of geologists and geomorphologists, among more than 800 Danxia landforms, Danxia Mountain is the concentrated distribution area with most typical development, most complete types, most abundant forms, most beautiful scenes and most adequate studies.
丹霞山由丹霞、巴寨、韶石、飛花水、仙人跡五個景區(qū)和錦江風(fēng)光帶、湞江風(fēng)光帶組成。全山由680多座頂平（頂斜）、身陡、麓緩的紅色砂礫巖石構(gòu)成，以赤壁丹崖為特色。最高峰巴寨海拔619.2米。丹霞山以赤壁丹崖之雄、陰陽之奇、巴寨之險、錦江之秀、翔龍湖之幽、韶石山之韻、夏富村落之曠聞名，有錦江畫廊、陽元石、翔龍湖、陰元石等標(biāo)志性景點。錦江穿越丹霞山38公里，兩岸奇峰聳立，絕壁凌云，江水碧波蕩漾。陽元石是一個酷似男性生殖器官的天然石柱，高28米，直徑7米，被譽為“天下第一奇石”。翔龍湖景區(qū)因湖面輪廓酷似一條騰飛的青龍得名。湖尾700米處有一個酷似女性生殖器官的天然石洞——陰元石，高10.3米，洞寬4.8米，深4.3米，造型逼真。丹霞山被稱為“中國紅石公園”。 gxgkickz.com
Danxia Mountain consists of fives spots of Danxia, Bazhai, Shaoshi, Feihuashui and Xianrenji and Jinjiang River scenic belt and Zhenjiang scenic belt. It is composed of more than 680 hills with flat tops (ramp tops), steep bodies and smooth foothills which are made of red gravels and rocks and features red cliffs. The peak Bazhai is 619.2 meters above the sea level. Danxia Mountain is famous with majestic red cliffs, wonderful Ying and Yang vigor stones, precipitous Bazhai, beautiful Jinjiang River, secluded Xianglong Lake, graceful Shaoshi Mountain and spacious Xiafu village and has the symbolic scenic spots such as Jinjiang River gallery, Yang vigor stone, Xianglong River and Ying vigor stone and so on. The Jinjiang River stretches 38 kilometers across Danxia Mountain with cragged peaks on its two sides, very high cliffs and green rippling river water. Yang vigor stone is a natural stone pillar resembling male genitalia with the height of 28 meters and diameter of 7 meters and is praised as “the top marvelous stone in the world”. Xianglong Lake is named after the lake contour which is the image of a flying black dragon. There is a natural stone cave (Ying vigor stone) resembling female genitalia at the last 700 meters of the lake with the height of 10.3 meters, width of 4.8 meters and depth of 4.3 meters and is vividly shaped. Therefore, Danxia Mountain is known as “China Redstone Park”.
